The Pain

Re-spawning enemies, frustratingly difficult by design, zero AI, dated in almost every sense of the word, budget level production values, unskippable cut scenes and repetitive nonsense that scraped a Metacritic score of 47. Oh dear.

The Pleaure

Dude – it’s got freakin’ Werewolves, Minotaurs and Griffins! Oh, and a Kraken! The concept of Pandora’s box being handed down by the Gods, lost over the years and then re-discovered and opened by some weird cult in New York city is pure 80s sci-fi nonsense at its best and guaranteed to appeal to the kid within. And if you can play this and enjoy it, you know you’re plain in love with the FPS genre.

Quite simply the best brain-dead FPS since Serious Sam.

  1. I think I’m going to have to buy this game again – I feel the need to shoot me some werewolves

  2. This looks like the kind of game I would make up my own story to while playing 🙂
